About Us
We started The Savvy Blog because honestly? Most mental health content felt either too clinical or too fluffy. We wanted something real. Something that talks about anxiety, stress, and burnout without the corporate cheerleading. Our work centers on practical mindfulness—not the Instagram version with perfect meditation cushions, but the messy, real-life kind that actually helps when you're stuck in traffic or can't sleep at 3 AM. We're here to prove that mental wellness doesn't require a guru or a mountain retreat. It just requires showing up.
Over time, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, quality, and clear communication. We treat each project as a partnership and aim for outcomes that last.
Meet Our Team
The people behind The Savvy Blog
Petra Novotná
Founder & Content Lead
Started this whole thing after burnout forced her to actually pay attention to her own mental health. Therapist turned writer. Believes in evidence-based practices but also believes sometimes a walk fixes everything.
Marek Svoboda
Mindfulness Coach
Spent 12 years chasing performance metrics before realizing they were killing him. Now helps people actually stick with practices that matter. Teaches meditation like a person who used to hate meditation.
Jana Kuzmína
Community & Research
Former academic who got tired of writing papers nobody reads. Now translates neuroscience into language humans actually understand. Obsessed with what research actually shows vs. what people claim it shows.
We’re a team that values ownership, clarity, and growth. We celebrate wins, learn fast, and keep client outcomes at the center.
Our Story
The Savvy Blog started in 2019 when our founder got tired of recommending therapy apps that didn't stick and articles written for nobody in particular. Three friends, one shared frustration, and a lot of late-night conversations later—we decided to build something different. What began as a newsletter about managing stress turned into a full platform. We've grown slow and intentional. That's by design. We're not chasing millions of users. We're focused on the people who actually read what we write and, more importantly, use it.

Our Core Values
The principles that guide everything we do
Radical Honesty
We don't sugarcoat mental health. Some days are hard. We talk about that. We won't pretend meditation solves everything, and we won't act like therapy is a magic fix either. You get the real story.
Practical First
Theory is fine for textbooks. We focus on what you can actually do today. Right now. In 10 minutes or less if that's all you have. Actionable beats aspirational every single time.
No Gatekeeping
Mental health support shouldn't cost $300 an hour or require a waiting list. We believe solid information and real guidance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their situation.
Meet People Where They Are
You're not broken. You're not lazy for struggling. You're just human. We write for actual humans—messy, contradictory, sometimes overwhelmed humans. Not idealized versions of people.
